Ze deden alles om het ons naar de zin te maken, echt heel vriendelijk en attent personeel. Het eten was ook altijd heerlijk en ruim voldoende!

Meremeta Lodge ligt in Utende, op minder dan 15 minuten fietsen van Mafia Island Diving. Het biedt gratis fietsen en een tuin. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. The hospitality provided by the staff is second to none. The rooms are large and comfortable, the grounds beautiful, and the food delicious. The property is a little farther from the beach than I would have preferred, but good bicycles are provided, and we were driven to the dive shop twice; once when raining, and another when it was too dark to bike comfortably. Thanks to Meremeta, Hamissi, and the rest of the staff. This place is a gem.

An amazing little island with outstanding tree house accommodation. Eco tourism at its finest. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Perfect for winding down after doing safari. Definitely worth a visit. The owner has done so much to help the locals which was lovely to see.

We traveled to Mafia Island specifically to see the whale sharks. We went out the first day with a highly rated local tour company and did not see any whale sharks which was unusual. The next day we decided to go out with Hassan, the manager at Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge. Hassan was determined and we did in fact see whale sharks!! Hassan took such good care of us. I was so happy to see the whale sharks but I was getting tired after a few swims so I was content to stay in the boat and let my family continue swimming. After resting a bit, Hassan jumped in to see if it was a good view for me. He came back to the boat and let me know it was a great view if I was up to swimming again. I jumped back in and had the very best time! I cannot say enough good things about Hassan and everyone at the Lodge. They are all so kind and helpful. I also highly recommend the massages at Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge. Thank you Hassan and everyone at the Lodge.
