We actually got upgraded to the sister property of the Forest Lodge, Lamp Lighter Inn. Beautiful room, fireplace, jet soaking tub, huge room. Very close to the ocean.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The interior design is v chic, the staff are attentive and super friendly, and I am still dreaming about the buckwheat waffles at breakfast. Would recommend to everyone.

Homemade cookies are available daily at this downtown Carmel inn. Rooms feature a flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Separate rooms were nice, living room, fireplace and kitchenette made for a nice sitting area while others slept in. My 12 year old Grandson said it felt very homey and reminded him of Great Grandma's house.

This Capitola hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from central Santa Cruz and New Brighton State Beach. It features an outdoor pool, and spacious suites with 32-inch flat-screen TVs and an iPod docking... Everything was great. The only thing I would recommend is that the breakfast food area be expanded. It is very small and does not accommodate enough people.

The location is fabulous, right by the beach, and the property is just stunning. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cheese and wine hour as well as three kinds of cookies in the dining area. The room itself was HUGE and really beautiful, with a comfortable bed, two sitting areas, a fireplace, a spa bath and a shower. I was honestly floored. Also, breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS. Those blueberry pancakes are amazing.
