Walk the gangplank to the dining room for delicious meals. Sa Dec is flower heaven and we loved the setting among all the flower nurseries. Hired a motorbike for a few hours which was great. A pushbike would be fine also as everything is flat. Frogs at night; no city noise! Reminds one how we don't need much in life to be happy!

From the moment we arrived in Sa Dec until we got on the bus to leave we were incredibly well looked after by Phuong and his lovely son. Plus lovely food cooked by their wife and partner who we didn't have the pleasure of meeting . The boat was small but perfect (plenty of storage for bags) and it was delightful being on the river watching the world go by. Sa Dec is worth visiting . It didn't feel at all touristie. We were able to wander through the fascinating market without being bothered and sat at a street corner cafe watching the supplies being biked to the market. The Ancient house is worth a visit to listen to the hilarious guide. And the flowers in Sa Dec are stunning. We highly recommend this accommodation and this city. We are so pleased we chose it.
