The place is really nice and the view is nice too. You do not see the construction going on in the city. The owner and his family is very kind and helpful! I would surely return to the same place!

CATBA PANDORA Hotel & Travel ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Cat Ba, frente a la playa, y tiene centro de fitness, jardín y salón de uso común. Ofrece terraza, restaurante y bar. We felt very much at home in this cozy hotel and even prolonged our stay. The staff, particularly Jay took excellent care of us. He provided us with spot-on information and helped us book tours, taxis etc - our stay would not have been as great without him! Big recommendation and excellent value for money. The location is great - especially since the sea front is “gone” due to a brutal real estate project in the bay :( , but Jay recommended tours how to get to the nice places.

This stay at Ecorest Villa has been one of the best decisions of our trip! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us as part of the family. Because they weren't fully booked during low season (there was a typhoon during our stay), they offered us a free upgrade of the room, which meant that we had 3 bedrooms with huge beds for the 2 of us, and a lovely sunset view. If we wanted to, we could've even switched rooms for free during our stay. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with all the plants and the stairs leading up to the rooms. The staff helped us with everything: renting motorbikes (delivered to the hotel), booking a taxi, even offering to take us on a tour of the island for free. We joined them for dinner twice, where we had the most delicious local food - AND a lot of fun with drinks, dancing and karaoke. At the checkout, we wanted to give them a tip for the amazing service and dinners, but they refused to accept this and instead insisted on a discount. Thank you to our amazing host for making our time on Cat Ba Island very memorable!

The bed, pillows and blankets were comfy. The room was quiet, no street or hallway noise. The hotel breakfast was yummy. There’s also a nice restaurant just across the street with a great menu.
