Yennie, the host, takes time to speak to you. We enjoyed a tour organized by Yennie: with the bikes and with the boat for 4h trough the country side.

Ngoc Phuong Homestay is located in Vinh Long. It offers complimentary bicycle rentals, parking and WiFi access. A set menu breakfast is served daily. A nice peaceful stay with a lovely family. The host was helpful with explaining how to get there from HCM city. Dinner was prepared upon arrival which was delicious. We we able to book activities, all at reasonable prices. The boat tour was very nice, cycling around an binh was fun as the local children joined us. We did a cooking class and prepared ourselves a delicious lunch. Overall, a very nice place to visit away from the big city.

Situated by the Mekong River, Happy Family Guesthouse features basic and comfy cottages with free Wi-Fi access. Surrounded by tropical greenery, it provides a garden and swimming pool with sun deck. Everything. The staff, especially Van, made you feel so welcome and took such good care of you. Tropical gardens and plants in abundance, an open air restaurant on the river. Scooters for rent, a great pool. We extended our stay by a couple days but still was so sad to leave!

The staff was very nice and always made sure that we felt comfortable. They helped us with every question we had. The location itself and the room were lovely and we loved this little oasis. The food at the restaurant was delicious too. And what also was great: there was a SPA belonging to the rdsidence where I had the best massage I've ever had - highly recommended! The location was a little bit outside of the city center. Therefore, the neighbourhood was quiet and we git also bikes provided with which we could get easily around.
