Lionel is a delightful host - friendly and conducive and was very helpful to all of us, including our teenage boy who was travelling with. The rooms are such a joy, the food is delicious and plentiful with a lovely view and the pool area is perfect for relaxing.

Situated within the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by gardens and overlooks the Drakenberg Mountains. Absolutely our favourite stay in South Africa! Quiet, peaceful with the best views on the mountains! And all the hiking routes available are wonderful! We had great food, the staff are friendly and the cats are very friendly as well.

Breakfast always has a good variety of foods, and staff are very attentive and friendly. For the Comrades's runner we require a very early breakfast and i find it very slightly disappointing, as the hotel is 90% full of runners from all nations. A special shout out to the concierge ( a tall , solid looking, white Sth African whose name i cannot remember), he service was OUTSTANDING. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Everything was great! High quality bedding and comfortable. The staff were great. The entire place was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the sauna and the breakfast was good. Loved all the small details.

The property was 7 mins away from the wedding venue, so was absolutely perfect to come back to after the wedding. The hosts left the lights on for me and even left me a bar of chocolate for late night feasting. Bed was under comfy and the shower and pool were a real pleasure

It’s beautiful, the views were amazing, very close to the beach.The kids had fun at the pool and playing area. You have almost everything you need to have fun and relax in one place😁😁

I absolutely loved the property and where it's located. Being surrounded by nature and waking up to the sound of birds was a much needed peaceful retreat for my husband and I.The kitchen was well stocked with all you need. The walk in closet made it easy to store our luggage.The host Mariaan was absolutely friendly and very helpful. The rooms are neat and comfortable. Property is close to shops and restaurants. I will definitely be coming back.
