Good location close to airport

Host is excellent Place is very Peaceful

The property was clean, spacious with all necessities and very quiet neighbourhood. I am exceptional thankful for having, basic needs, e.g having a cup of tea. The property is 10 minutes from the airport which made location perfect.

Clean, and spaceous apartment with 2 ACs (each room had one). Kitchen is equipped. Host lives next door, he was very kind giving us extra toilette paper + salt/pepper for our first breakfast 😊

The property was tidy and clean. Everything that you need for a weekend stay. gas station in walking distance (less then 10 min). Is convenient to come by bus as well in this area, not only by taxi. The host, Maureen, was really nice and she offered us few good tips about what to do around. we like to talk, so we went twice to Crane beach ( walking-30 min), but is a nice walk and you can add on the way to the beach a sop by Cutters Bar,

Everything was perfect! Fantastic accommodation and helpful owners. Such a wonderful villa in a lovely location. Cant wait to return.

Friendly & convenient for all these bags south coast and airport

Our stay at the Hidden Gem, The Hidden Gem is a small and very fine Bed & Breakfast in the south-east of Barbados, 50m from the coast and a good 10 minutes from the airport. You can get on the #11 bus about 500m away and explore the island without a car. The "Hidden Gem" is a very well maintained large private home. On the first floor there is a lounge area to the right, a living and dining area to the left with a large open kitchen where the owner and her staff prepare breakfast. As soon as you enter the house you will notice the lovely decoration and furnishings. This attention to detail is evident throughout the house, as well as in the garden and pool area. Our room, for example, is a tribute to Audrey Hepburn. Outside: There are several places to sit and relax. We really enjoyed our breakfast outside. Breakfast was offered to us individually: French toast, the typical Caribbean sweet plantains, but also egg dishes on request were very tasty. Our room on the second floor was quite large and had a modern bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Just to mention a small detail, the towels were nice and of very good quality! WLAN throughout the house was excellent. My wife and I will especially remember the hospitality and genuine helpfulness shown to us by Ameena & Ann-Marie. You can tell from the well-kept condition of the house, the cleanliness (!) and above all the atmosphere that Ann-Marie has lived abroad for a long time and has brought her experience and standards back to her home country and lives in this hidden gem. Thank you so much for taking us in when we needed it (our return flight was cancelled due to the fire at Heathrow).

Last minute booking because of cancelled flight and it turned out to be a gem. All the staffs were super friendly, and I'm cured!!! See you soon Barbados and see you soon Oceanblue!
