It’s ideal when you need to catch an early morning flight. The host will arrange a private car or taxi for you. Plus it is not far from purple cable line with a taxi fee of 10Bob or by walking for 15-20 minutes. Purple line is ideal as a start for an interesting and must do cable city tour.

Location is close to all attractions. Staff was always there for anything that we needed, at departure they stoped the taxi for us on the street so that we don't miss the bus.

The room is big, clean and comfortable! The counter staff are very friendly! We took the night bus to Uyuni, which allowed us to extend our check-out until 20:30! It’s so touching!

I booked the hotel late evening when I was boarding the flight for La Paz in Bogota, as my flight to Uyuni the same morning was oversold and I had to stay in La Paz.
The hotel replied with confirmation very quickly and as I was landing at 2am, I asked difference I could be picked up - that was arranged as well
I have stayed in many hotels during my travels and for work, and I chose this hotel first judging by the photos - it has the charm! The photos didn't really show the full beauty- i was admiring the idea of the theme of the hotel
I can mention lot of small things that add to the experience, like small welcome candies in the room or the view during the breakfast (and the staff was very quickly replenishing the breakfast items, so there was never an empty plate), but I really want to thank the receptionist (I am so so sorry, I don't even know his name), who made me feel really special - he helped me to book the ticket for the bus for Uyuni, caught a taxi for the station for me and asked the driver didn't know where the meeting point was, he sent one of his staff with ne in the taxi to make sure I was not lost
Thank you so so much !

I recommend to visit cable cars, the city is safe.
I recommend to visit cable cars, the city is safe. Prices are cheap, people friendly. La Paz itself is max 2 days, then you have seen everything in the city.
The only thing that I did not like is the traffic.

We felt safe to walk during the day and night.
We felt safe to walk during the day and night. Food, clothing and haircuts are cheap. Most people are helpful and very friendly. La Paz has a few world records: highest capital city (so ensure you have Diamox to reduce altitude sickness symptoms) and the largest cable car network in the world (well worth the 12 BOB for 2 hours use as we covered 6 different routes.

We didnt have long in La Paz.
We didnt have long in La Paz. We went on a walking tour on the first day, but didn't particularly enjoy it. I think we started too early and a lot of things were not fully open. The cable cars were great though. We enjoyed these more, and it gave us amazing views of the city. We really loved the Valley of the Moon also. We went to the women wrestling show, which was lots of fun. The death road cycle was a challenge, but it was an amazing trip.
