We were greeted by Theresa and she let us put our bags in the apartment early so that we could walk around and explore. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Sherlett, the owner. Sherlett was communicative, welcoming, and helpful. It was so nice to have a whole apartment with a kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning and a TV with multiple platforms - cuz we needed to Netflix and chill for a night after lots of traveling!

The property was wonderful. I booked the place last minute despite my in and out internet service. (Not to self pay for a month of international service next time you travel). Anyway, I was arriving past the checking time but Florita the host had no problem. As an aside I was planning on taking the Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala from there. She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.

De birding tour die werd georganiseerd was hartstikke leuk en interessant met een enorm enthousiaste guide die erg veel kennis had!

We were welcomed by Noemi, who is a super nice and helpful host. She is great! She helped us with everything: tours and activities for the day, looking for shuttle services, even booking a hotel in Quiriguá for the next day (which seemed almost impossible). Also the other staff members are so nice! The hotel has perfect location, along the seaside, with a great swimming pool too. Our room had a view on the beach, which was great. The rooms are nice and clean, with AC. There is also good restaurant, which is open all day, with view on the beach. I certainly recommend Livingston Resort Hotel!
