We were met at the airport as organised and were kindly dropped off the next morning to our car hire pick up point. Casa Garitas is conveniently located near the airport, which was ideal for us as we had come off a long flight. Payment was easy to do via card or cash. The room was large and very comfortable with complimentary water bottles which was appreciated as we didn't have a chance to pick up any beforehand. Just a short walk down the road are some restaurant options and we were recommended one which we really enjoyed for our first Tico meal of our holiday. Thank you :)

It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.
