The breakfast is very, very good, to the point that on our second day I asked them not to give us so much food! The swimming pool was great for a dip at the end of a hot day. The scenery is beautiful and the room comfortable. The location is good, it's a 15-minute walk from the town of S.Filipe and a 10-minute walk from the airport. The hotel is in a very quiet area.

The rooms are basic and ok. John, the new owner is a very friendly and helpfull person always ready to answer your question. He helped us to find a airplane ticket and assisted us to the airport.

FOGO Boutique HOTEL is definitely my go to hotel when visiting Fogo. The food is amazing, my only regret is that I didn’t get to taste the entire menu but i will be back soon.

Stayed one night and very pleased. I did the walk from the airport and yes about 20 minutes flat. The room was clean and the A/C worked well. Great location, right near the square. I really liked the spacious balcony. Breakfast provided and on the more basic side but still fine to start the day.

Beside, she has been helpfull for everything (places to eat or going out / hikings / taxi) The room is clean and everything look like the pics on the website. The hotel is located 5min from the city center and offer a great view on the ocean with the beach just underneath ! Thank you for everything and hope we will come back!
