Everything was excellent I stay twice now but this time the mirror in the room was broken. Evening staff excellent was very happy to help . Morning staff was very cold considering said nothing and just did what she had to . Still good for €50

Really comfortable rooms. Staff was really lovely and it’s perfect for a stay near the Bordeaux airport. we arrived late and had a good night’s sleep. the next day we took the breakfast which was really nice and price was very reasonable. the property is very eco-friendly with no plastic in sight! their Co-working space has super fast internet and they kindly let us work there after we checked out for almost the whole day. it’s a short 10 min walk from the airport.

Best to have a car.
Best to have a car. We used our car very day to drive to various vineyards and wineries on both the left bank and the right bank. The location of the chateau is near the main highway and easy to access. There were ample local shops and restaurants within a short drive from the chateau to grab cheese, bread, and supplies.

Le Bouscat is a residential area north of Bordeaux centre - around 15 minute tram ride. Its quite suburban and not a lot going on so would only recommend as a short stay location if you are visiting the city. Some owners are asking 140+ Euros a night to stay in their flat here `so I would recommend you find a boutique hotel closer to the city.

Ease of access to transport, grocery store, parking spot. Ease of getting in, feeling safe, secure and cozy. We arrived after 8pm, Marion was waiting for us with the keys and instructions . It was a raining day. We unpacked and walked to grab items for breakfast for our stay. Marion was a great help to us when we had a challenge with the electric car!

Great location for choice of food, every nation seemed to be represented. We found some excellent places at very good prices.
We didn't find many places for breakfast though.
Lovely architecture, well lit up at night. We were there for the Christmas market and it didn't disappoint. Lovely view of the city from the ferris wheel.
Bordeaux as you would expect is very busy and most places to sit outside were by the side of traffic. Lots of rubbish everywhere though, bins overflowing and we even saw rats. but it is on the riverside.

For my situation, I needed car park and pets allowed, I wanted to go to the ocean which I did one day and it was amazing - I was too hot and tired to go another day due to no AC in room, outside temp 34 degrees. The area was nice, but I prefer countryside , for my requirements and budget there were no hotels in the countryside for the dates I needed - it all depends on peoples' individual circumstances, for some it is just one night stop over for the airport , I had several requirements , and would have liked another day at the sea. The immediate grounds of the hotel were nice with trees and grass area I could take my dog there first thing in morning and at night.

A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby
