Hotels near Annecy – Haute-Savoie – Mont Blanc Airport - NCY, Annecy

Loved the stunning location by the lake, the layers of history reflected in the architecture and development of the town itself, and the ease with which you can get around on foot. A variety of shops, bars and restaurants, and excellent public transport made this a great hub to explore the wider area without a car.

We were visiting friends who provided transport for us. I think local buses would get you into Annecy, which is the main attraction, fairly quickly but a car would be preferable. Some shops in Pringy centre within walking distance and supermarkets not far away. Close to motorway and access to surrounding countryside.

Gorgeous place with so many amazing restaurants and shops. Lovely weekend market on both weekend days too. Great range of interesting places like the chateau and the prison to visit as well as the lake and a range of associated activities.

We love the location, cleanliness, staff, breakfast, dinner, lounge area, free distilled water, our room of course. We think its great value for money. Outside could be more charming and inviting. Patio furniture needs to be updated.

Fantastic walking around the old town and canals. Cycling around the lake was lovely. Plenty of places to hire a bike. The markets on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday are interesting. Great to pick up some fresh produce. Restaurants are plentiful. Good to try the local specialties.

Lovely little lakeside and mountainside town with beautiful historic charm and plenty of delicious spots to eat and drink local goods. We were concerned after many people told us about all the lovely flowers we’d be missing going in November. But fall really put on a show with the colors and surrounding views. The biggest issue was that many places were closed or had very limited hours. But we understand and did the best we could. It meant the crowds weren’t there, so we were able to meander and enjoy stopping in to eat at great spots without reservations.
