Our hosts Stanley and Yvonne were the most lovely people you could ever meet. We had a beautiful and quiet room with an ensuite bathroom. And the breakfast was amazing. 10/10 would book again!

Charles is the perfect host, pleasant and polite! Breakfast is really good with traditional Ulster breakfast. Spacious rooms in beautiful surroundings in a beautiful house. Charles even offered to send some things that we forgot, we have never experienced such great customer service, we can’t recommend this place enough! It’s also not far from Belfast and really good value for the price you pay. Please consider staying if you are in the area, you won’t regret it!

Elisabeth is a wonderful host and we spent 5 nights in the green room. The room is small but comfortable and it is larger then you think after seen the pictures. The private bathroom is large and good. Elisabeth serves a deliicat breakfast with several alternatives. After 5 nights we were so well taken care of that we regret we had to leave.

Joy and Ross are simply amazing people - really, they should be both called Joy because they simply bring joy into your life. They are incredibly helpful when it comes to planning your itinerary: they suggest things to see, they suggest places to park at, restaurants to try, etc. They are genuinely curious and want to know about you, but they also give you ton of space. Simply the best hosts ever.
The room was great, the en suite bathroom is really also superb. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and as someone who was struggling with getting a good sleep recently, I had absolutely no problems there.
Private parking is simply outstanding and the included breakfast is always delicious (Ross's soda bread is impossible to beat).
The location is great, ~30 minutes from Belfast and maybe 10-15 minutes from a Tesco supermarket in Crumlin.
I would not hesitate for a single second to go back to the Green Monkey Lodge.

Crumlin is a small village not too far from Belfast near the beautiful lake. The lake area is a great attraction and offers lots for people in general but also for families with children. Great playgrounds and nature around.
In Crumlin we have been to the 3 Amigos Deli. Brilliant people. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and they made us delicious burritos with no problem. And we were not rushed at all, very friendly and good taste of the food.

nice area, great local bars. the people of Antrim were fantastic. Maddensbar, food exceptional for pub grub, atmosphere great and service faultless.
we hired a car, but everything i needed, petrol, food superstore, takeaway, restaurants were all less than 5 mins in the car. so much to offer.

The house was just perfect, it was very spacious and very comfortable. There were two large reception rooms and the kitchen was also very big and it was equipped with all the equipment and even extra food as well. The rooms were also very spacious and one of them had an en suite as well. Overall we had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend to anyone out there.

Could not fault the Lodge, if travelling by bus out to accommodation make sure it’s the Europa Airport Bus from the appropriate bus station, and ask bus driver to stop right at the door of Lodge. If travelling by car or taxi there is no problem.

Antrim is nice and lovely for a get away holiday from the hussle and bustles of city life. The town has lots of trees and town centre have most of the regular stores like Lidl, Asda, SPAR. for easy shopping. Accessing Belfast city centre from Antrim is quite easy and the roads are traffic free.

Aldergrove airport itself is dated and dull and needs major investment, the approach roads to the airport need investment while the shopping choices are very poor. No information desk or customer service desk in the arrivals section, no staff assistance or announcements on delayed baggage.
Staff on duty throughout the airport are fantastic very attentive, mannerly and helpful throughout , but the building and surroundings requires major investment in order to attract more tourism to Northern Ireland.
