Located 2.5 miles from NEC Birmingham, Tri-Star Hotel offers 3-star accommodations in Birmingham and has a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. We had a great stay at the hotel! Nigel was incredibly kind and helpful, he gave us directions to the city and assisted us with everything we needed. The breakfast was also excellent and very flexible with timing, which made our mornings much easier. Although the hotel is outside the airport, it's very close to the city centre. You can easily get there with just one bus, the X1, which only takes about 25 minutes and runs 24 hours a day. Super convenient and a great location overall. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Modern 2 Bed house - HS2, NEC & Birmingham Airport is located in Marston Green, just 3.4 miles from NEC Birmingham and 3.5 miles from National Motorcycle Museum. Our host was excellent in terms of communication (including helping with a local restaurant recommendation) and everything went to plan. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - we couldn't have asked for more. It's a very nice, quiet neighbourhood and supermarkets are about 15 minutes away. We would highly recommend and look to stay again if we find ourselves in the area again.

This 4-star luxury hotel is next to Birmingham's NEC and just ten minutes away from Birmingham International Train Station and Birmingham International Airport. excelent bedroom, confortable and incririble hot system. Washer system incririble though.
more specifically Xclusive property on 34 White croft Road, Sheldon - It was a pleasant enough suburban area with plenty of restaurants. The property was only fair - clean enough but several things not working, poor lighting in Kitchen and no instructions for tv or oven. A good location for our reason - near the NEC, and adequate. Could use a tidy up outside full of weeks and bramble. We were grateful for off street parking. As it was for business reasons it was okay.
Marston Green Hotel is 3* hotel that met my expectations. I stayed only one night, as next day I had to attend event and after that travelling back to home. The location of the hotel is nearby Birmingham International Station and it was within 5-10 mins by taxi. Overall I'm satisfied and happy with my accommodation for one night. Only I'm not sure if someone would like to book room for longer duration of stay. I find the place reasonable and excellent for short stay, but not any more. Also, I observed that the cleanness of the room wasn't the best expected. I noticed in the shower floor some dirt and dark spots same as the fossettes. They could be cleaned much better. Their free WiFi frankly speaking was better than in London, which pleasantly surprised me and I was able overnight to complete my task for next day event, which was appreciated. Unfortunately I'm not able to provide photos from inside as I deleted the two of them from the shower. I don't have any other photos from the surroundings as I went only for take away food in the evening to buy my dinner from the nearby restaurant and the weather this evening wasn't the best (light drizzle and damp/humidity from the season).
Amazing Hotel, with a luxurious feel. Everything there that you could wish for. Staff are lovely. Just needs slight adjustment to detail in respect of ensuring mattresses are fit for purpose and not worn out. Apart from that this Hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. We ate at Miller and Carter, food was delicious, book first as I did, It is easy to go to go to the NEC from this hotel. View of the river is amazing. Sky Bar well worth a visit. All in all I would definitely recommend this Hotel.
The charming village was a great place to stay for the course I was on. The digs were within a few hundred yards of the station to Birmingham, which was only 3 stops away and has a free car park. I would not have known, however, when I booked, that it was so readily accessible by train from the centre Birmingham. I think they should advertise that feature. I was busy on a course, and it was bitterly cold out, so I did not visit any tourist sites as I had no free time until the morning I left, when I took a quick and easy trip to the town centre by train to see the famous Museum of Art.......which was closed for a refurb! (Jan 2022) A good excuse to visit again!
The old town has changed beyond recognition. Empty shops except for charity shops and 'The Mall', The quality of goods on sale rather poor unless you shop in one of the Pound Shops, John Lewis or Apple. 30 years has impacted negatively on the old Town, M & S gone, House of Fraser, good manners all gone, litter in the streets, even the coffee shops had dirty tables, litter on the floor, sad. Excuse my sarcasm in the next question
Once inside it was clean and comfortable, the area was not great and difficult to find after dark as a door between shops, whose shutters were down. First impressions when opening the door from the street weren’t great but up the first staircase to another door that opened to a much nicer interior.
