I loved that the bathrooms had a lined bin and sanitary bags for women, the toiletries provided had a lovely fragrance and the tv had google cast which is rare to find and an excellent feature.

Everything was excellent. It is ideal for an early or late flight. Very convenient, 2 bus stops away from the airport. Easy check in and check out. Tea/ coffee available free of charge anytime. Very clean with all necessary requirements. Restaurants and shopping centres close by.

Its exactly what you need for a night before an early flight all the other reviews here are from entitled folks expecting 5 star hotel for 40 euro a night. Has everything you need and a cheap airport shuttle. Great staff and perfect for what it is.

Veces is an hour away from Budapest by public transport by bus and metro, but it is very good in terms of proximity to the airport. Nearby there is a central market with various shops and a Tesco, about 25 minutes on foot.

We were just passing by before heading to the airport and because many of the hotels were fully booked because of the New Year celebrations, we chose to stay here before heading to the airport in the morning. This was perfect place to stay within some 15 minutes driving distance to the airport rental car returns.

Budapest is a beautiful city, but not all parts are well kept. I have been many times and I cannot say what I like the most, because it is personal. While I avoid locations with high concentrations of tourists, this time I did go to the Citadella. Luckily there are public buses that travel up the hill although thousands of tourists wait for the costly elevator to climb up. I love walking around the city. Regarding art, as a student I always had the posters of Victor Vasarely in my dorms. When in Budapest, I always go to his museum. It is not downtown but the exhibition is beutiful and his colours put one in a good mood.

Rarely any true restaurant in Taksony (other than fast food) was open during late hours so we couldn't find a place to eat. And when we found one (Roro Falatozo) they didn't speek English. But the food was good.

Its a nice quite place.
Its a nice quite place. Little bit away from the bus connections that's good if you want peace and quite. Good to spent night to catch a flight next day. It will be great if a shuttle service available to and from airport. Taxi normally cost 10 Euros each way.
For amenities there is a small shop nearby and you can get to LIDL, Tesco etc. by 15mins walk. There was a local bakery on the main road which has bake fresh breads and coffee.

I LOVED Budapest. I could have stayed a few more days. We were there for 4 days. The river walk is gorgeous. The people are so friendly. Prices for stay, public transport and food are budget friendly. There are so many options for sight seeing. We toured castles, churches and synagogues. We visited a thermal bath and simply walked the streets. Public transport is a bit tricky so do your homework before use. Not all tickets cover the buses and underground travel. We felt safe the entire time.

A big shopping mall is walkable from the hotel if you need to buy anything. It's a cinch for anyone who travels by air and has to walk all those concourses and gates. The hotel restaurant menu is quite good. The Superfood Salad is amazing. The airport shuttle is so convenient and quick.
