WiFi was working very good (they have few different ones). 2 swimming pools with view on the sea, and the breakfast was sensational. Hot water in the shower. An open wardrobe so you can easily store your stuff. We were there while they didn't have other guests so it was super nice.

Located in Maumere in the East Nusa Tenggara region, Waiara Village Guesthouse features a balcony and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a house all to ourselves + the garden. It was a beautiful Balinese styled house, with gorgeous wooden furniture. The bed was really comfortable. Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic. Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion. It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

Sea World Club Beach Resort & Dive Center has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Maumere. For the price we pay, it's an absolute bargain to have the beach in front of your own cottage. The room size is super. Clean and wel taken care including the aircon. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, you can order pancake, fried rice and scramble egg. The black rice bread is unique. The beach is maintained well and reasonably clean. We did the snorkling too and it was getting much much better. We went to pangabaan island for snorkling for such a great price for a day trip. The view was breathtaking. Only half hour drive and 45 minutes boat from here. Massage can also be ordered to your own room. I would recommend Sea World for!! everyone

Location was great, accomodation was excellent and clean, food and staff presentation was excellent, very well organized resort pool was clean staff always friendly, definitely we will come back.

Coconut Garden was amazing. The room was wonderful, the open air bathroom one of a kind and huge! The staff was amazing, they also find more soft pillows for the bed and they clean and change towels every day. They have a super nice breakfast with fresh fruit and a dish of your choice and the food was delicious! They prepared us a breakfast box (not so rich though) to take to the volcano trip! The tour to Pulau Babi was very well organized and the snorkeling was great… not to mention the fresh grilled fish at Babi Island!!!! The pampered us in many ways and we spent there wonderful relaxing days.

HAPPY DIVE RETREAT fka Ankermi Happy Dive features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Hitokalak. We had a great time at happy divers. The location on the water is beautiful. Claudia the owner, is very friendly and helped us with many tips and organising a snorkelling trip.

Set in Maumere, Cassabonelly features water sports facilities. Featuring room service, this property also has a restaurant and a terrace. The inn has family rooms. A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!

Facing the beachfront, Eco dive resort Alycastre offers 4-star accommodation in Maumere and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. The seclusion and remoteness was the appeal for us and it was everything we hoped for. Our arrival was delayed due to very strong winds and Virginie the host/owner was incredibly helpful in making alternative arrangements for us. Virginie is also a talented chef and we loved trying local Flores dishes as well as her European cuisine. We really enjoyed the diving with Antone, stress free and some beautiful macro as well as impressive giant fan corals. Visiting the villages on the island was also a highlight. The resort is very comfortable, lots of places to lounge and relax. It’s an island paradise and lucky are those who make the trip. Thank you for everything Virginie and Antone, this holiday will stay in our hearts and we look forward to come again.
