We had a house all to ourselves + the garden. It was a beautiful Balinese styled house, with gorgeous wooden furniture. The bed was really comfortable. Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic. Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion. It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

Cocinan muy bien, muy recomendable comer y cenar allí. Nosotros lo hicimos. El personal del resort están siempre pendiente de ti, son super amables, hacen tu estancia muy fácil. Los bungalows delante de la playa tienen wifi gratis y hay servicio de agua potable todo el día. Dispone de "Dive Center" para alquilar material y organizar buceos con ellos. Cerca de la playa, hacia la izquierda, hay un arrecife de coral para hacer esnórquel y en los días de mar tranquilo se pueden hacer buenos vídeos. El pueblo está un poco lejos andando pero se puede ir también en moto. Y lo mejor, el alojamiento ofrece transporte gratis desde el aeropuerto de Maumere. The Budi Sun Resort, Flores, Maumere awaits you for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were very attentive, kind and considerate. The property is beautiful, well maintained, with lovely gardens, a number of different sitting and lounging areas near the pool and beach. The food was delicious and well presented.

I was lucky to have picked Anjo for my visit to the Maumere area. It's a real gem, just 5 min from a quiet beach and 10 min from town. The service level of the entire staff is definitely up to western standards. The food in the restaurant was delicious and some of the fruits and vegetables come from the property's own garden. You might be tempted by some of the beach accommodations in the area, but the people I met in the restaurant and at a snorkeling tour who stayed closer to town all struggled with sleep due to traffic and karaoke parties, which seem common practice. They wished they had booked at Anjo. So, from one traveler to another: look no further.

The seclusion and remoteness was the appeal for us and it was everything we hoped for. Our arrival was delayed due to very strong winds and Virginie the host/owner was incredibly helpful in making alternative arrangements for us. Virginie is also a talented chef and we loved trying local Flores dishes as well as her European cuisine. We really enjoyed the diving with Antone, stress free and some beautiful macro as well as impressive giant fan corals. Visiting the villages on the island was also a highlight. The resort is very comfortable, lots of places to lounge and relax. It’s an island paradise and lucky are those who make the trip. Thank you for everything Virginie and Antone, this holiday will stay in our hearts and we look forward to come again.
