The fastest and safest way to reach the city or airport is by taxi, which takes around 35 minutes. There are no public transport connections.

Guwahati International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is for domestic flights only, while Terminal 2 connects to international destinations. The flights are operated at regular intervals by Druk Air, Jet Airways and various other renowned airlines.
