A really comfortable house for 4 people.
The aircon was fantastic.
The bottles of water left in the fridge were a very welcome gift.
The shower was comfortable
The bed was spacious & comfortable.
It was very quiet considering how close to the airport we were. The neighbourhood was quiet.

Exceptionally clean property. Larger than I expected with accommodation over two floors and even a little courtyard garden (which we didn’t use)
Host met us at the property which was a nice touch and this meant everything went smoothly for us. Host was very helpful.
We chose this property because it was walkable form the hire car drop off, and for proximity for the airport as we had a very early flight. It’s about 5 mins in a taxi away, but the areas was quiet overnight so we were well rested despite early start.

All you need for a night close to the airport, we wlked there from the airport, it took us like 15mn it is no side walks so be careful but we preferred not pating for a taxi :) Frencesca was waiting for us even though it was almost midnight, very kind and speaks good english. the room was clean, it had everything we needed, towels, coffee, comfy beds! I recommand this to everyone who need a simple stay close to the airport.

The place I stayed was great, the owner was so sweet that she was willing to give me a ride to the train station by my departure. The breakfasts that she made was very delicious and at the time I needed (for Tuscany tour i needed to leave at 6:30am instead of regular breakfast at 7:30am) she prepared it for me. Only some minus I would give to a distance from the train station to the property. But from other hand it was a good exercise:)

Florence is one of my favourite cities in the world for many reasons. It has a bit of everything for everyone - it’s really pretty, quaint, rustic small enough to see everything in a few days, plenty of beautiful walking streets, extremely value for money accommodation.
It also has a lot of delicious food, very cultural, locals are friendly and there’s lots of wonderful shops perfect for the avid shopper.
The Outlet Mall (heaven for shoppers in general) in Incisa which is just an easy short drive away too.
To me, Florence is a city that one can keep returning to.

Fiesole has many sites to explore with its fantastic amphitheatre, monastery and cathedral. It has some excellent restaurants and local shops. We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.

I think Lastra a Signa - the Agriturisimo at San Lorenzo was great for us and more like a 4.5 than a 3. the location was amazing, up in the hills above florence, adjoining a national park. Birds all around - very peaceful. very nice staff and lovely croissants and coffee for breakfast
Shared pool and hot tub, but not an issue for us as it was almost empty.
Access to Florence okay, but you need a car. Drive to scandicci for a tram probably best (we drove all th way in with a wheelchair)

Everywhere you go in Florence there is somthing to see. You have to go back to again and again.
To eat fish you have to go to Pescheria Sugarello in Marcato Centrale.
You sit on small stalls very ice wine serve in plastic glasses and the fish
cooked in front of you. We have been to Florence five times now and have our lunch at Pescheria Sugarello ever day. Casa Del Vino Firenze to sit and have a glass of wine tuck behind the stalls.

Fiesole is a must for visitors to Tuscany. This small hill top town is a peaceful place to stay outside Firenze. The best restaurant is Has an outdoor terrace it’s on the right as you arrive into the piazza. The hotel we stayed at was FH55 villa Fiesole. I highly recommend this hotel.

The house was lovely and the lady owner very kind. It would have been nice to have a kettle in our room. We were surprised to find that breakfast was not served in the hotel but in a cafe 1.5 km away which we had to walk to as we are travelling by train. The breakfast was good but it was a long walk. As we were leaving early next day the proprietor brought us a take-away and drove us to the train station, which was very kind of her.
