Trapani airport, also known as 'Vincenzo Florio Airport Trapani–Birgi', is a military airport that's open to national and international passenger traffic. Located 9 miles (15 kilometres) south of Trapani, the airport is connected by the local AST bus service. The bus departs hourly from outside the terminal and takes around 35 minutes to reach Trapani city centre. Taxis cost around EUR 30, with a journey time of 25 minutes.
