Excellent Marriott Hotel. We had a superb suite room overlooking the Botanic Park. We had dinner at Vinyard-15 on the 15th floor. The food and wine were excellent and the service was very nice. The hotel is next door to a station to catch the airport railroad to both Gimpo and Incheon and is in a lovely area. Only 4 stops the other way to Seoul station as well.

All the restaurants and bar were supposed to be open till 9.00 PM. The first day I went at 8.15 PM and was told they were closed (all three restaurants). Next day I went at 7.20 PM and was seated but told they would close at 9.00 PM but I was repeatedly approached by the waiters and reminded to finish up as soon as possible. At 8.15 PM they started removing the dishes for the buffet. Room service- the food was delivered COLD!
Bad manners of the staff and absolutely pathetic! It's not a five star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Closer to 2-3 starts.

It was a business trip - conference at the Songdo Convensia - otherwise I guess there was no other reason to visit Incheon. I did visit a few regional landmarks (temple and fort) which was nice, but it wouldn't have been possible without a car as public transport was not as efficient or convenient.

Wonderful country!
Wonderful country! You will be struggling what to eat because everything is tasty! There are a lot of mi-mi places decorated and organized so that you want to stay a bit longer! It is an excellent place for shopping! It is my number 1 recommendation!

We checked in around midnight and unfortunately, didn’t have the option to change hotels. The room was supposed to be smoke-free, but it clearly wasn’t – it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom had visible black mold behind the sink, although the toilet area itself was clean. The room was a decent size, but the floors didn’t feel clean – I’d recommend wearing slippers. For a budget hotel, I guess you get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

not expensive - if you are looking for deals for clothing and especially electrical items such as computers / laptops such as Phil's Computer Repository - but be aware this is just one "shop" in a place which as 100's of small shops..
People were not generally friendly whilst I was traveling - which was a bit of surprise.
The food was excellent.
