1.) Hotel location is good and convenient. It is just about 15-20mins walk with luggage from the Mokpo bus terminal. Suggestion route to hotel: (If you are using naver map) After cross over to opposite bus terminal, walk straight until the 1st CU convenient store and turn left, walk a little bit and turn right at the 2nd junction (a small alley), walk all the way down and continue with Naver map.. This route is more walking friendly with luggage. 2.) Conveniency: Both GS 25 and 7-11 are within few mins walk. In additionally there is a E-mart mega store nearby. 3.) Considerable: Hotel is providing a drinking machine (hot and cold option, including maxim coffee stick) at each floor for guest. 4.) Toilet is big and clean. They do provide the toiletries such as toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in individual pack, towels etc. Hair dryer is provide in the room too. 5.) In the room, they also provided the USB cables for guest charging the mobile or tablet.

The owner was so kind and friendly. She would want to help with everything. At the same time, she is also respect your privacy. The place was only 1 minute walk to a bus stop and 7-11, so it was very convenient.

My reservation at this hotel, Mokpo Caltonhill Hotel through bookings.com stated the one night room charge of KW100,000 for June 28th Saturday night includes next morning breakfast but when I went down at lobby floor in the morning of 29th, Sunday, there's nothing for breakfast and asked to the receptionist,a night shift employee, and he told me bluntly there's no breakfast served on Sunday. I was frustrated and told him my reservation clearly showed the breakfast included in total room charge of KW100,000 but his answer was simple...No breakfast on Sunday(29th)! And I went back to my room to pack my baggage and went down to the reception for check out, where I found there was a new receptionist who was just rotated for day shift work and I told him as well on the issue of breakfast and he told me it was changed since 2 weeks ago for a no breakfast on all Sunday. Then I told him it clearly looked like they did not update their revised breakfast policy and I should claim it to the contractor for refund and then he suddenly offered to a slice of toast, instant noodle and a steam cooked egg. There was no such problem with any reservation made so far so many years through booking.com. It was my worst experience with hotel reservation so far. Mokpo Carltonhill hotel looks not a proper place to stay for routine travelers.
