My wife and I had a lovely stay at Ayonthoo! in the quiet outskirts of Area 43. Even without a vehicle, Ayonthoo! is an easy distance from places of interest in Lilongwe whether by taxi, motorbike taxi or public transport. Karen, the owner's niece, and her staff were warm, helpful and hospitable. Our en-suite room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Drinking water is on tap. Having our laundry done gratis was a pleasant surprise. The Google Map address is accurate. Highly recommended.

I liked this lodge it is really nice and peaceful for family. Our host, Tamanya, is very kind and friendly. When we have some issues, she is ready to help it out. For myself to cook is really comfortable and Yasin and Alik these staff guys are really quiet and polite. Security is very safe. When we come to Lilongwe, we directly come here. But I am afraid after my review it will be full of all spaces when I come here.😄😄 But I wanted more enjoy from place for barbique and swimming pool. Our next coming, I will do that. Thank you for all guys here and for the owner to build like that building in Lilongwe.

Excellent breakfast, wonderful location with a beautiful garden, very quiet, you could hear the birds singing in the morning. I stayed quite far from the reception and the street, maybe that's why my experience has been so good.

My stay at Africa House has been my best stay in Malawi so far. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the building, pool, and grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The best sleep I've had in months!
