Everything we needed for an overnight stay before returning to the airport. Quite large room, comfortable bed and pillows, great shower. We also had a meal at lunchtime in the restaurant and it was delicious. The taxi we booked didn't turn up and reception kindly arranged for us to be transferred. Thank you.

Better than renting hotel room, car is parked right in front of door, should provide television & refrigerator & microwave, also with simple sofa, as the metal chair is broken, water pressure should be better with usage of water pump

Batu Maung is a great place.

Batu Maung is a great place. I just knew on the third day bcoz no time to explore. Pantai Esen is Graet but I didn't knkw before I came here. There are also shopping places like a supermarket but I only knew on the way back home 😔.

Lift service was poor and shared with Cleaner and laundry team. Delayed the whole process of the lift service which takes 20 to 30 minutes each wait. Noisy and the wall too thin. Can hear every movement of the children jumping and their walks running screaming crying till late nights from neighbours. Toilets are dirty and too small. No closet and plates.

Walking distance to great morning breakfast selection, Kek Lok Si Temple, 7-Eleven. Fell hungry in the night, there's a very good Nasi Kandar operating from a coffee shop which coffee shop are close and only Nasi Kandar stall open.

Great local food like assam laksa, char kway teow, coffee, chicken rice and many other local favourites. People are friendly too. Transport is easy with ride hailing app and there was even a free Central Area Transit (CAT) service to help us to move around the central area; travelling to Chinatown is easy with this free CAT service from KOMTAR which is very near the hotel.

great if you have your own transportation. going out is usually 30mins drive or more. not because of the distance, more cause of the traffic jam. some 20km drive can take up to an hour during rush hours.

Lot of colonial stuff.

Lot of colonial stuff. In present day world such imperialistic artifacts do no draw the young crowd. They must update their advertising towards non imperialistic setting. Nature stuff like Penang Hill, Penang national park, Moon Gate were excellent. Upside down museum was fun.

Self contained township with abundant facilities such as food and beverage outlets, shops and banks and lesser traffic congestion compared to Georgetown. This makes for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Penang.

Jelutong is now mainly a Chinese area.

Jelutong is now mainly a Chinese area. Many of the Malay villages have been demolished and replaced with flats or apartments. There are many masjids and temples around the area. I enjoy going to the market. I also enjoy visiting Pasar Taman Saadon in Gelugor, for breakfast. It is about 3 km from Jelutong Market. Walk up Bukit Dumbar for exercise and the view.
