Excellent guides, wonderful experiences, superb hosts. We saw dolphins, turtles , manta ray and a dugong. Having snorkelled in many places around the world …2 mile reef was beyond spectacular. We made our own breakfast but we did have dinner and lunch. Fabulous fresh fish and seafood pizza with excellent peri peri sauce on the side. Fresh coconut juice was a win. Such wonderful staff. Good wine selection. Well priced. Loved our 3 bed villa and it was well kitted out for us to cook our fresh produce from the local sellers. We will certainly be back.

We were picked up directly outside our gate for our island hopping tour and Linda arranged door to door service for sea horseback riding and a helicopter tour. Aside from the gorgeous property, the true gems are Linda and Louie, who do everything to make your stay perfect from the moment they pick you up from the airport.

We loved our spacious clean beach bungalow with lovely shady deck from which we could see the sea through the palm trees! It was 100m from the sand. All staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Fernando brought us coconuts and opened them. Dalton is an incredibly kind and hospitable host. He recommended local restaurants that we loved - no menu sometimes, just go with the flow! There is no restaurant at Villancool but we enjoyed walking up to Baobab for breakfast and then back to the tranquility of Villancool. Our sunset Dhow safari was an absolutely highlight - a really traditional timber boat with old school sailing. Dalton can organise activities including kite surfing. We loved our time here. If you want luxury surroundings, room service, fast wifi and all that, this is probably not the place for you but to appreciate a friendly community in very comfortable accommodation, I highly recommend it. A man by the name of Wilson can show you amazing places that you might not know exists and knows everything about Vilankulos. My wife and i spent a lot of time with him as he showed us amazing views and treated us like gold. Very caring and knows how to to make us laugh and smile making our stay more than we expected.
