We visit once a year, and it always marks the most special time we have. I am biased, because we have some very special friends that live there, but still, it just a great time, every time. Great food, Great atmosphere. Great people. It's like time stands still, for a minute.

Beautiful town squares . St Mary’s church is exceptionally interesting and the tower is a good climb. Lots of places to eat and many bakeries. Don’t miss the outdoor museum ASTRA, a short bus ride away in a rural setting.

Sibiu is definitely worth a visit! The old town is charming and has a lot to offer a tourist. It's easy to get around by foot and there are some really good restaurants where one can enjoy typical Romanian food which is very tasty. If you don't dare ordering the stomach soup which is a national dish (I did and it's GOOD!), then try 'mici' which are small grilled meat rolls and the superb dessert 'papanash'!

Charming old town with lots to see and admire. Well maintained. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, and hidden gems on narrow streets. 2-3 days can easily be spent just taking in the old town and enjoying the atmosphere.

Exquisitely preserved town with all of the European fixings but without all the annoying tourist masses.Only the best surroundings and everything is easy to find/discover.The Romanians are such lovely and courteaous people with warm open hearts

A pleasant Old Town atmosphere in the city center, with medieval architecture and narrow streets. There are cozy places with courtyards or terraces. It can be a great weekend getaway for a romantic time together.
