Hotels near Lyudao Airport - GNI, Green Island

This tiny little island will never disappoint you! Definitely worth your time and money! We were there for 3days and 2 nights but it could be easily done in 2 days 1 night if you are running short of time. Do rent a bike and surely take a sea activity of your choice.

Taiwan has a lot of island getaway you can choose from and Green Island is one of the top choice you can make. It takes a little less than an hour to travel from the Taitung port. Lots of activities you can choose from snorkelling, scuba diving, trekking, hot springs, or just frolicking in the beach, there is always something to do here. Renting a scooter is a must. Lots of bars and restaurants that can cater to young and young ones in heart. My kids really enjoyed snorkelling a lot. You don't need to go the middle of the sea, the tour can just take you to the beach and instantly enjoy snorkel.

like the Island so much, there are so many beautiful place on the Island and also the sea , I like to go there to dive again but suggest to change or turn off some bright street light on Ziping and Da Bai Sha, as there are affecting the darkness sky view for the stars And I also recommend the guides of night tours do not use strong lazer bin to show people the star at the skies near little great wall area or everywhere

So much to see and do, Cycling around the island, great places to eat, soaking in the hot springs with many people from different countries, snorkeling, seeing amazing fish in fantastic colors, and just meeting so many nice travelers

The two of us couldn't ride a motorcycle so we had to rent a driver, which was expensive (4500 twd for 1 day) but it saves you from riding near the cliffs/ in the dark at night. We went during the low season and the bus seemed unavailable (and we haven't seen one anywhere during our two-day stay). Would recommend visiting during summer (before October) to avoid the monsoon. Overall it s beautiful albeit somewhat touristy
