Location and Transport
Albuquerque International Sunport Airport is situated just over 3 miles (5 kilometres) from downtown Albuquerque. The Rail Runner train is the easiest way to reach the city, with transfers taking just 15 minutes. The Route 250 shuttle bus runs on weekdays only, while the Route 50 runs on weekdays and Saturday also. A journey into Downtown takes around 40 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
A number of hotels can be found within 2 miles (around 3 kilometres) of the airport terminal and all offer a free shuttle service. Inside the airport, you’ll find plenty to keep yourself occupied, with a variety of restaurants, shops and free WiFi on offer.
Terminal Information
Albuquerque International has one terminal, divided into several concourses connected by one hall. Passengers with connecting flights may be required to pass through immigration – a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.
