Hotels near Newport Municipal Airport - ONP, Newport

Only surprise was that it was a Thousand Trails campground. Not a problem, just unexpectedly huge. Was that in the original description? First walk to Lost Creek beach access was a scary 1/10 mile walk along Highway 101. Later I found a service road that led to a driveway right across from the entrance to the Lost Creek parking area. Way less stressful to cross there. I had a fantastic breakfast from Newport Café, enjoyed the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and Abby's Pizza for late lunch. In addition to a very comfy cabin, I appreciated the close-by beach access. I walked for miles, took some good photos, loved it.

The studio unit was well stocked per their list. Forfar is just south of Newport, Oregon. We drove, and the beach views were close by. We also drove to Lincoln, OR, another 15-minutes north. We really enjoyed this part of OR for the state beaches, lighthouses, easy driver pull-outs for viewing the coast. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had.
