Location and Transport
Also known as Lindbergh Field, San Diego International Airport sits just 3 miles (5 kilometres) from downtown San Diego. The Airport Flyer bus #992 takes around 20 minutes to reach the city, with weekday services running every 15 minutes for most of the day, and running every 30 minutes at weekends. Taxis are also available, costing around USD 14 for a 10-minute ride to downtown.

There’s a wide selection of hotels surrounding the airport and many offer a free shuttle service. The terminals offer free WiFi, a selection of restaurants and shops, and public art displays.
Terminal Information
San Diego International Airport has two main terminals, with most major airlines arriving and departing from Terminal 2. Passengers with connecting flights may be required to pass through immigration – a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.
