We had an amazing time at Meeru! Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular. The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself! The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical. We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort biedt privévilla's en bungalows op een idyllisch eiland in de Indische Oceaan. Het resort beschikt over een buitenzwembad, 4 restaurants en een wellness-centrum. The resort is fantastic - even better than the pictures. The staff is so welcoming and friendly from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. We were greeted by a lovely Italian lady Iman, who gave us a run down of everything we need to know and an extensive tour of the island. They have golf cart services to take you to and from your villa which is really nice. The bar has great ambience at night, and delicious cocktails included in our package. The waiters are so polite and attentive. The room comes with a beach bag which you can keep afterwards so would recommend not to pack one for your trip Contrary to other reviews, we thought the food was great! Considering its buffet style, there was many options to pick from. Delicious and large variations of salads, lots of beef and chicken too. We also stayed for 7 nights, so that included a free dinner at an a la carte restaurant of our choice. We chose the fish restaurant which was a 10/10, dining over the water and overlooking the sharks and mantas!! Our package also included a fishing tour and free kayaking as well as the use of snorkeling equipment everyday! Special thanks to Naveen from housekeeping who came in twice a day to keep our villa nice and clean. His hospitality and kindness made all the difference. We loved our stay at Villa Nautica and have already recommended it to friends and family! Things to consider would be the speedboat round trip fee of $170 per person and green tax $12 per person/per night

Het resort Bandos ligt op een privé-eiland op 8 km van Malé. Bandos Maldives biedt ruime kamers met een balkon met uitzicht op de tuin of het strand. Perfect voor een korte vakantie na een rondreis in Sri Lanka. Is dicht bij Malé luchthaven, 15min speedboat. Hierdoor zie wel de stad liggen vanaf sommige plaatsen op Bandos maar dat weet je en stoort niet. Eten was zeker in orde, niet enorm veel keuze maar heel kwalitatief.

Het SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton ligt in de Emboodhoo-lagune, op slechts 15 minuten varen met de speedboot van de luchthaven. V. Good V good V good 😊💯

Samura Maldives Guest House Thulusdhoo is gelegen in Thulusdhoo, op een paar minuten lopen van Bikini Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een privéstrand en een terras. Amazing location, designed with taste, chilled and relaxed, the best beach on the island, kind of boutique, great friendly staff, all clean, free water, coca cola, coffee, tea all day. I would come again!

Het luxe Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa & Spa & Spa bevindt zich op het privé-eiland Furanafushi in het Noordelijke Malé-atol van de Malediven. Staff is extremely friendly and always at watch to help. Our daughter has severe food allergies and they managed to accommodate everything very smoothly. One family member had a birthday and they managed to prepare a allergy free cake!
