Honestly the best 3-star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room is very small and may not be ideal for solo traveller who are big in size. But the room facilities everything was exceptional. Really clean, brand new and friendly staff.

Nice building, nice hotel in general. The room was small (this is to be expected in Tokyo), however very functional and well laid out. The size wasn't an issue at all. Plenty of toiletries supplied, and tea and coffee etc. Every other day an "amenity bag" was left on the door, with fresh towels inside etc. Room had working A/C which also heated nicely, which was great to have when visiting in December. The location is great. A short walking distance from the larger Ueno and Akihabara train stations, and an even shorter distance to the Okachimachi station in between those. You can get on most train lines from these three, and a direct train to most of the tourist areas you'll likely visit. The hotel is right next to the train lines. A short walk to the Ueno area which has plenty of shops and restaurants. A small amount of on site private parking is available on a reservation basis, so I'd suggest seeing if you can reserve it before you get there if you know what nights you're going to have a car and need parking. Parking is very limited around Tokyo, especially overnight parking, so I'd strongly recommended it if you're going to have a car, and want somewhere nearby to park every night guaranteed. I had a car for four of the nights I was there, reserved the parking when I arrived there, and it was simple and straight forward. There's a 24hr Lawson convenience store only a twenty second walk across the road from the hotel, which is quite handy. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Will be the first hotel I look at if I visit Tokyo again.

Very convenient location! Only 1 minute away from the the Hatchobori H12 subway stop. The line is most of the time quite empty which allows you to commute to different areas of tokyo easily. The walk from Tokyo station is about 20-25 minutes. The hotel offers great rooms (not spacious) but super modern and off course clean. Breakfast is served on the restaurant next door. Very good.

i absolutely loved my stay at the apa hotel! everything was super clean and nice, in the room you are provided with everything you might need from tea-coffee to even a razor blade! moreover, the staff was super helpful and the room was cleaned once during my stay so i had fresh towels. the hot springs are free for the guests and theyre also very nice. the hotel further offers luggage storage and luggage transport services which was really helpful. overally a very pleasant stay!

I loved my stay in this APA hotel. A friend introduced me to this hotel chain I didn't know (as a foreigner), and I was really satisfied. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious for a single guest, lots of appliances and comforts. I would visit other APA joints somewhere, they are really organized and keep the guest informed of all the aspects of the stay with an infotainement system that fits well with my OCD. Best part: staff was super nice, always smiling and helpful.

I’ve stayed in many APA Hotels in Japan, and this is surely one of the best within the chain. The standard room was complemented by excellent facilities, including a sento and a pool. Its prime location also offers easy access to local attractions and transportation.

A simply great hotel, like all APA hotels. Very efficient, sophisticated and modern room. Extremely clean. You should request a room on a high floor in advance, there is a fantastic view of Tokyo! Onsen is great and really fun to end up relaxing there after a long day in the city. The breakfast is simply delicious, with great traditional Japanese food. I had a great stay at this hotel!

The fact that APA Hotel chain instilled trust, Tokyo is a City were hotel rooms are typically small and this hotel is no different from the others. The Hotel has a facility to keep baggage in storage.

Location good, although confusingly there is another APA hotel a few hundred meters away! Almost no English ability among the staff. They try to redirect you to a machine as much as possible, but when arriving after a very long journey, it's nicer to be helped by a human being. For a Japanese business/chain hotel, it was just okay--nothing close to special. Breakfast menu limited and boring.

It's part of a large chain of Japanese hotels so thought I'd give it a try. It's very well organised and has contactless check in and out but a person always at reception. Super clean and small rooms but well designed. Definitely ok for a couple of nights.

the hotel was clean, the staffs was very friendly and informatif. i really comfort stay in all of APA hotel chain bcause the service is excellent with the affordable prices. the room fit for 2 big lugagge and i think that's quite enough for max 2 people inside the room. the cleaner was very kind every morning i met to replace the aminities with the new one.
