Although we only stayed one night at the hotel, it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, spotless, and featured a beautiful balcony shaded by olive trees. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and warm, making us feel very welcome. It's located just a 5–8 minute walk from one of the best beaches in Lesvos. I would definitely love to return for a longer stay.

We stayed in one of two downstairs apartments without a veranda. The apartment was spacious, light and airy. Great bathroom, well-stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed and living space. Everything like new, and spotlessly clean. We did not miss having a veranda (all other apartments do have one), as we could use the large communal table in the yard for meals, with the added benefit of having social contact with the wonderful hostess and some of the other guests. The excellent beach, with free beds and umbrella, is right in front of the building. A mini market and very good tavern are more or less next door. Having a car is recommended, but there is a (at least) twice-daily bus connection with nearby villages and Mytilini town.

Situated within 44 km of Saint Raphael Monastery and 48 km of University of the Aegean, Lefteris provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Polichnítos.

It's been about 40 years since I've experienced Greek hospitality in the traditional Greek way. Leftheris and Erika are such wonderful people. They welcome you as long lost friends. We had a simple room but it was spotlessly clean with a great shower (rainfall shower head) and an endless supply of HOT water. Our balcony had comfortable chairs and a good sized table with a sea view. It has a big awning so you always have shade. We could happily sit there for hours watching and listening to village life. Leftheris has installed shutters and a form of double glazing so, at night, you can sleep in absolute silence and dark. Downstairs is the guest fridge where you can buy cold beer, wine, water for reasonable prices and then sit on the terrace and enjoy. I'm worried about writing this review because I will be attracting more tourists to a unique and special place in Lesvos. Erika calls it 'the forgotten corner'.
