It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.

Great place, above all expecttion. The apartment is very cosy, the SPA center is nice, the location - very close to the city center. We had the room cleaned on a daily basis. The stuff is very kind and understanding.

This place exceeded our expectations, the staff, amenities, room etc. For example, there was a huge number of pillows you could choose from based on preference. You could tell that a lot of detail was put into everything everything they did. I thought the staff was very kind and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool or sauna, or fitness rooms, but those were great options too! What a beautiful place, definitely one of the nicest places I’ve stayed.

Stayed for nearly a week at the Penthouse Apartment (so called Blue Villa) at this smart and beautifully designed place just off Ponta Delgada and the black volcanic beach of Populo. The apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with full comforts. The rooftop terrace deck with a large jacuzzi and black rock clad swimming pool is adjacent so you can just hop in any time you like. The property is sophisticated and it works like a clockwork, not the least due to the wonderful hosts Diogo and Joao - forever helpful and kind. Very much recommend it for exploring the area as it’s easy drive to anything you may wish to see on Sao Miguel.

The place is in an amazing location with a stunning view. Modern and very well kept. Nice surrounding. Hiking down to the village and beach gives a striking view. The natural pools at the coast are worth the visit. As the kitchen was being remodeled, we got excellent breakfast served in the room every morning, which we anyway would have preferred.
