Appartments are new, very clean. hotel staff is very friendly and contacted me from before for the door codes and breakfast for the following day since we wentinside after the check in time. hotel has a garage which is free to use. there is also a small gym/suana /pool/ jakutsi to be used free of charge. Appartments are very big in size and equipped with everything one would need (even a clothes washing machine). Bfast is also very good and big in portions.

Great place, above all expecttion. The apartment is very cosy, the SPA center is nice, the location - very close to the city center. We had the room cleaned on a daily basis. The stuff is very kind and understanding.

The stay in this hotel was really pleasant. I enjoyed a lot the time spent there. The crew was communicative and really helpful. Airport transfer worked really well, both the one provided by the hotel crew and the taxi in the middle of the night that they ordered for us. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was good. Location close to the center and the port. Overall, very good choice.

Stayed for nearly a week at the Penthouse Apartment (so called Blue Villa) at this smart and beautifully designed place just off Ponta Delgada and the black volcanic beach of Populo. The apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with full comforts. The rooftop terrace deck with a large jacuzzi and black rock clad swimming pool is adjacent so you can just hop in any time you like. The property is sophisticated and it works like a clockwork, not the least due to the wonderful hosts Diogo and Joao - forever helpful and kind. Very much recommend it for exploring the area as it’s easy drive to anything you may wish to see on Sao Miguel.

Excellent location for exploring Sao Miguel island. View from the room is stunning. It's last building before cliffs and ocean. Lodge and rooms are very modern and facility is super clean in general. In room you have a small kitchenette and for us it was enough, making breakfast and not too complicated things. You have small pool in garden (not heated but at least in July, water was definitely warm enough). Also possibility to grill/have barbecue. Staff was very friendly and communication worked like a charm. 5 minutes by car to bigger super market and gas station. Best beach in Sao Miguel (St. Barbara) approx. 15 minutes by car.

The attitude of the staff was exceptional, lots of towels, large refrigerator, wide parking place, quiet place, close to grocery shop and some good restaurants. Due to steep reljef it is better to use car to reach town centre.
