Pelican Point Sanctuary es un humedal único y prado de 87 acres situado a 2 km de St Helens, en la carretera a Bay of Fires, Tasmania. Located in a wetlands reserve and with well-marked walks round the grounds. Birding books and Nikon (!) binoculars provided in our detached chalet which had full disabled access and a view over a small pond via the huge sliding windows, all of which were fly-screened. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very well appointed full kitchen with quality utensils and fittings which were a pleasure to use. The oven was so clean I didn't want to sully it! Fast broadband. Each chalet has its own parking bay right alongside it. Greeted on arrival by friendly staff, and the owner is an even-friendlier character. Highly recommended. Worth a mention is Lease 65, four minutes away and selling the biggest, freshest oysters I have ever eaten, all at portside prices (12 for AU$ 24). Amazing.

El Georges Bay Apartments, situado frente a la bahía de Georges, a menos de 10 minutos a pie del centro de St. The apartment was well designed and clean. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating and polite. There is no A/C in the bedroom. We didn’t have any problem with that as it was winter.
