The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. Great location next to beach. Staff were extremely helpful allowing us a free late check out. Loads of beach stuff which is free to use at the hotel. Highly recommend staying here

Outrigger Apartments Port Douglas offers a heated saltwater swimming pool, a tropical garden and free Wi-Fi. The Outrigger is centrally located close to the beach and the marina for excursions on the water. Restuarants are only a few blocks away. There were lots of large trees on the property to provide important shade as well as a large natural stand of trees across the street. The bird life was prolific here which is so nice to see. The room was clean and beautiful with a well appointed kitchen allowing us to cook anything. The cupboards even had Tupperware containers to put leftovers in after eating. I liked the salt water pool instead of chlorine. Amanda and Peter were such helpful and gracious hosts. They did numerous bookings for us and provided information on excursions that we would not have known ourselves eg which ones are best, the weather forecast, eg. I would highly recommend the outrigger as a place to stay. The snorkeling on the outer reef is absolutely magical - you have to try it!

The Nautilus Holiday Apartments are situated in Port Douglas across the road from the famous Four Mile Beach. The property is in a great location, spotlessly clean and the kitchen has every utensil you could need. The WiFi and TV were great to stay caught up and entertain. However it was the fabulous help booking tours and guiding our self drive exploring that really made our holiday exceptional. Thank you Mike.
