Featuring free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with DVD player. Parking on-site is available and the aparthotel also offers a shuttle service for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. What was there not to like?! It was clean and cozy and well equipped, with an amazing view from the balcony, comfortable beds, good showers, and it just honestly had everything you need (minus a freezer). We even bought some wood to light the fireplace (but not because it was cold but because we wanted to). We cooked as the kitchen was well equipped (though families might need a bigger pot). Ramon made a lovely information document that points you to different hikes and activities and we enjoyed going for long and short hikes, foraging berries and mushrooms. We would have stayed longer as it just felt so relaxing and peaceful and it was our favorite place that we stayed in and are 3 weeks in Spain.

We had wonderful 2 weeks in this extraordinary 14th century apartment. You feel the history. The Palau dels Alemanys is a unique place. Service and location were excellent. Sarah and Carlos have been very kind and helpful all the time. During check in they give you a very nice introduction regarding the history of the building. We stayed in Girona for road biking. The place is very convenient to start your tours, although the climb to the old town can be challenging. Good training anyway ;-)). Girona is a beautiful town with nice old buildings and squares and very good restaurants. The surroundings are marvelous.
