The breakfast was out of this world! The best one I've ever had I'm sure. Kythira is a wonderful island and the location of this hotel was perfect for us. A few tavernas and bars a short walk away. The hotel is so quiet and peaceful. Even a bee flying passed seemed noisy because it was so quiet.

From the very first moment, they made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality, genuine kindness, and effortless charm. The room was spotless, well-kept, and fully equipped — perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The balcony opened up to a lush, colorful garden filled with flowers — a truly idyllic scene that brought instant calm. During the early mornings, due to strong sunlight and some bees around the garden, it wasn’t always easy to sit comfortably on the balcony to enjoy our coffee — but honestly, this was just a minor detail that didn’t affect our overall experience at all. We were pleasantly surprised by little gestures in the room: local treats and authentic Kytherian flavors that we truly enjoyed. The property is in an ideal central location, making it easy to explore all parts of the island, while still offering absolute tranquility and quiet. Parking was also very convenient and hassle-free. The value for money was fantastic and far exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Aloi Studio to anyone looking for a welcoming, peaceful, and beautiful place to stay on the island. The room was very clean, with all the comforts. Calm environment, good location to visit easily the southern coasts. The hostess were very welcoming, kind, helpful. It was overall a great experience. Totally recommend the hotel.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Philoxenia, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, owners and staff made us feel truly welcome, their warmth and genuine hospitality set the tone from the beginning for a wonderful stay. The facilities were spotless and very well maintained, while the rooms had a comfy, tastefully designed interior that made us feel instantly at home. Everything was sparkling clean, with great attention to detail that added to the sense of peace and relaxation. Breakfast was another highlight! Each morning we were treated to a delicious spread of homemade Greek specialties — fresh bread, local cheeses, and other traditional delights like original Greek yoghurt of high quality, the jams and sponge cake, were prepared with love from the owner. Philoxenia is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience of genuine hospitality, comfort, and tradition. We are already looking forward to returning, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the island of Kythera ! Thank you for an amazing stay !

The location is in a very quiet part of the village. The room is spacious and well sound-insulated. The darkness made it easy for us to enjoy deep, undisturbed sleep during our stay. The Wi-Fi worked well. The bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable.
