For me and my teenage son Chios was a resting spot between travels, and the apartment was perfect for the goal. Quiet, comfy, laundry, a very short walk to the central “castle “ restaurant spot, not far from port, great host, easy self-access, very clean, gated property… Had nothing else to wish for.

Upon arrival, Maria warmly greeted us and even kindly upgraded our room. The property is perfectly located right across from the beach. 2 minute walk and you’re at the beach! You can hear the ocean from your room. Despite being on the main road, it is very quiet. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely terrace and AC. Maria and her family made a lovely breakfast each morning - eggs, coffee, greek yogurt and honey, tomatoes on toast. Maria was so kind and helpful, even calling our cab for us back to the airport. If you’re thinking of coming to Samos and don’t know where to stay, come to Kokkari just to stay at Maria’s. I’m so happy we picked here for our vacation, thank you Maria!
