It's very comfortable and has great laundry facilities in the apartment (but seperate from the living/sleeping area). It's located right near the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. It also has a tram stop a few minutes walk away. The centre of the city is a few minutes walk the other side of the Peace Park. Oddly, for an unmanned hotel, we can give the staff top marks. The one staff member we ran into onsite was great and also helped us out of a bit of a jam. Also, as it is unmanned, a lot of thought has gone into anticipating the needs of clients. As a result, everything we needed was provided for.

Located in Hiroshima within 1 km of Hiroshima Station and 1.7 km of Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu, GRAND BASE Hiroshima Hikarimachi provides rooms with free WiFi. This 3-star aparthotel offers full-day security. The aparthotel features family rooms. The room was roomy and included a kitchen, washing machine and dryer in the shower room. We also had an adjoining room which was almost identical. Cleanliness was above expectations. It was a 10 minute walk to the train station. There were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well as in the Hiroshima train station. Beds were very comfortable. We did get help from a wonderful young lady to help us check-in as we had gone to the wrong Grand Base hotel. She spoke excellent English and picked us up from the wrong hotel. We were very thankful for her help.
