This 4-star aparthotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. The aparthotel has a sauna and full-day security. Cozy apartment style accommodation, greets for extended stay. Most rooms come with washer/dryer, but if not, there’s one available in the lobby. Our favourite amenity during the stay was the sauna, 3 available for booking, first come first serve. While our room didn’t have a tub, you’re able to book the sauna with one. The staff at Section L was so lovely and helpful, we loved our stay and look forward to retuning. They provide you with everything you’d need, with options to rent items: vacuum, rice cooker, additional clothing rack, to name a few. We also thought it was a great location for our 2 week stay and it was easy to get to/from the neighborhoods.

Just be aware that there are loeads of soaplands on the same street, though we've never experienced anything bad or had any problems whatsoever, even at late night. It's a small room, but that's to be expected from Tokyo hotels/hostels. We were two relatively overweight travelers but we had no issues with space, including 4 suitcases. Futon mattresses are comfortable, the shower and the bathroom area is clean and neat. They provide everything, including dental hygiene sets as well. The AC works well, you'll need it if you're visiting Tokyo in summer like we did. There's also a paid breakfast service, although we haven't tried it. On the second floor, there's a small shared kitchenette and water dispenser with cold and hot options, as well as a washer and a dryer with clear English instructions. The host is really friendly and helpful Overall, for this price, I feel we couldn't have chosen a better location for the price we paid. I would gladly stay here again!

Kaku Studio Apartment Ikebukuro offers accommodation within less than 1 km of the centre of Tokyo, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop. This recently renovated aparthotel is located 300 metres from Ikebukuro Mitake Shrine and less than 1 km from Jizo of Air Raid Victims. The property is close to popular attractions like Nishi-Ikebukuro Park, Wacca Ikebukuro and Ikebukuro Suiten-gu Shrine. The location is perfect, a bit far from the station to walk to for me personally but that's because of a disability. I actually liked that it was some distance from main roads as it gave the place a nice neighbourhood feel. And the bus is not far and it takes you to the station in 10 min or so, no big deal. Lots of little local businesses in the area as well which are worth a visit. And Koharu, well she is phenomenal! Attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to share recommendations for a top-notch experience. We loved the area and we would come back in a heartbeat. I've read reviews that remarked on how cramped the space was; it's Tokyo, it's kind of expected! It is very compact, especially the bathroom, but in my opinion very functional and I did not feel like it was even mildly annoying; it was just fine for me. And let's be real, you're not cooking dinner there, but for basic heating up something and having morning coffee is just perfect.

A recently renovated property, Tokyo Skytree sta 2min walk, 2stop Asakusa sta-Stay SUU & Cafe- is situated in Tokyo near Tokyo Skytree, Tsukada Kobo and Kamejimashogakko Memorial Park. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1 km from Aizome Museum. The aparthotel has family rooms. The host was great and helpful, nice to have a coffeeshop downstairs who also serves a great curry.
