Most rooms at Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo has a private thermal hot tub (except for the 3-bedroom apartment), which can fit 4 to 6 people. Most units have a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils. There are free satellite channels, free WiFi and free parking. Some units have a balcony with lake views. We booked a studio unit and we were upgraded to a two bedroom. Loved the hot pool too and beautiful rose gardens.
