I was nervous about the small size of the room before we arrived, but one we saw how it was designed and organized, we found it to be perfect for our needs. Property was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and at a breathtaking location.

What a remarkable service person. She showed me to my beautiful apartment. All the details in the apartment were great. Two towels, small towels, beach towels. I could clean my clothes, and I could go for a swim at the rooftop pool overlooking the beautiful ocean over Madeira. She immediately helped me with suggestions on what to do, and I could even rent a car and park it inside. It's safe and secure, with two gates on each side. She suggested restaurants, hiking, where to drink ponchas, etc. I was cared for there every day. If you want someone who cares about their guests, apartment Madeira is the place to be. They know the defintion of service. I will bring my girlfriend here next time.

We really appreciated the absolute cleanliness of the room, its convenient location, and the hosts’ attention to detail. The delicious welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable long-term stay. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, which was also very important to us. The only aspects that could be improved are the quality of the bed linen (it felt quite synthetic to us) and the water supply.

Situated about a 20 min walk downhill to sea front and restaurants. Lovely views from terrace over harbour and town. Matheus was a dream host from the start. You could believe you were a guest in his own house. The whole place has been fabulously refurbished to a high standard. Impossible to fault. The main attraction though was breakfast.. Best start to a day ever. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
