Fantastic place. Quiet, spotlessly clean with a lovely pool and gym. It’s a short stroll along the river to Robertson Quay or a little further to Clark Quay. A $10 Grab gets you to most attractions but the MRT is just across the road and so easy to use. The breakfast was great, lots of variety and the self serve coffee and chilled drinks available thru’ the day were amazing. Also amazing was “happy hour”. From 6-8pm the breakfast bar transforms into a self serve bar with cocktail “fixings” (all your fave top shelf stuff) and wine or beer on offer. As well, they bring out a variety of nibbles (hot and cold). My one complaint would be the standard “rock hard” hotel bed. But the housekeeper bought me a huge duvet and I used that as a topper pad so it was all good 🙌

Great World Residences offers family-friendly accommodation in Singapore. It is just a 1-minute walk to Great World Mall, 3-minutes walk to the Great World MRT Station (TEL) which can lead you direct to Orchard Station where Takashimaya Shopping Centre and ION Orchard are within walking distance. Very suitable for family traveller. The accommodation made you feel at home. 3 bed rooms with 2 showers are just perfect for family of 3 little kids + a maid. With cloth washing and dryer in the room, no need to worry if kids make a mess during the trip. In walking distance there is the Great World Mall which has two supermarkets and various restaurant (some even come with kids playground!) Also you can access metro with ease and if you need taxi, front desk can always help you to get one and ensure you can pay with card. The swimming pool and kids play ground also give parents a chance to rest a bit as the kids can play in these places for hours. :)

The place was clean and the photos matched exactly what we expected. The aircon worked very well and the washing machine & dryer along the corridor was an added bonus especially with the hot humid weather, which warranted a change of clothes and washing them. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. The induction cooker and microwave were helpful for us to prepare our breakfasts and dinners. The staff were very responsive and readily available when we had any queries. Special thanks to Yani, Maica and Mary for their ever-ready to help.
