The Beach Residence está en Choeng Mon Beach, a 3 min a pie de Playa de la bahía de Thongson y a 3,3 km de Gran Buda. Just WOW. Our villa overlooked the sea, and the beautiful Thongson Bay. Phil, our host, greeted us even though we didn't arrive until late into the evening as our flight had been delayed. Phil was so welcoming and showed us around the property and up to our villa. We even received a very helpful list of places to go and restaurants to visit, from lunch venues, to cheap but very good restaurants, as well as a couple of places to go for a special evening out (more expensive but still very reasonable and top notch food). We hired a car which enabled us to travel around the island and explore the many different villages and areas of Koh Samui. However, if you just wanted to have a restful poolside/beach holiday, you have that on your doorstep too including s few local restaurants which are easy to walk to. Phil organised a taxi for our arrival (highly recommended) with his driver to collect us from the airport. The taxi was there when we arrived (not taken for granted as on arrival in Bali the year before we waited over an hour for someone to turn up so we were very grateful after a long flight!). The driver even dropped us at the local shop on the way to the villa so that we could get some essential water and food for the coming days, which was so thoughtful. Phil is excellent at communicating when needing to throughout the stay, without being intrusive. He even bought us some local bakery pastries a few days into our trip. Its the little human and thoughtful touches that make this place special. A truly magnificently located apartment and a 5 star host. We would thoroughly recommend. **Note for those with mobility issues: The very special location of this villa, being on the side of a hill means that there are quite a few steps if you are staying at one of the villas at the top with the best views. However there is a villa on the lower level with only a few steps which would be more accessible for those that may struggle with steps.

Zibá Home Suites está en Lamai y dispone de wifi gratis, piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. After three weeks at Ziba, there is nothing that can be hidden from a guest. The location was terrific-close enough to the beach, night market and excellent restaurants but far enough so that it is quiet and peaceful. Parking for our rental car was perfect. The AC was excellent. The staff is hard-working with the room cleaning, grounds maintenance and pool cleaning. The kitchen area was well equipped for our needs and the bed was firm and comfy, just the way we like it. All in all, a fine choice for an extended stay. Just remember, this is NOT North America or Europe.

El chico que está al cargo (Jose) es muy simpático y se preocupó en todo momento por que estuviese a gusto. Además, me dio muchas recomendaciones de cosas que ver.

Amazing property, absolute fair price, big new and private rooms, nice staff. We only booked one night but would have loved to stay longer. I read about this in the reviews and can confirm: one of the best accommodations we’ve had in Thailand.
