Our stay at this apartment was absolutely incredible – 10/10! The place was spotless, comfortable, and had a wonderfully homely feel. The views were breathtaking, truly adding to the experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect weekend getaway, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. The hot tub was perfect even in the beautiful rain 🤗 We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Only a short drive from Inverness city centre, Woodside cabin is the cosiest little retreat in town. The view is magnificent. Sitting by the log burner as the evening light fades away, and the city lights begin to sparkle is one of life's simplest pleasures. The cabin is perfectly equipped for both short and long stays, and the hosts are outstanding.

Karen and Steve are a prime example of hospitality and just as great as the apartment itself. Starting at the entrance door, where a wooden highland cow awaits you, holding a scottish flag and a flag representing the guests (in our case austrian), you could already feel that the hosts are making an effort of welcoming you. The interior is a loving mix of rustic cottage charm, exotic decor from around the world and adorable pictures (like e.g. Winnie the Pooh drawings). Everything is kept flawlessly clean and a sideboard offers loads of teas, coffee, cookies, porridge and sweets and magically refills itself every day, depending on whatever you took. Steve showed us around when we arrived, being very welcoming and funny and we felt like home right away. He even introduced us to their house donkeys Raymond&Pumpkin and their goat Billy which was a highlight of our whole Scotland trip. Karen unfortunately broke her ankle and was only able to greet and talk to us through the window next door, but her pure joy at having guests was nonetheless noticeable and heartwarming. Both of them were incredibly helpful and magically there when we needed it, while still giving us all the space we wanted to have enough privacy. Spending a few days in this oasis felt like a warm hug. We absolutely recommend this place and will definitely come back here the next time we are in Scotland again.

There was some extra not expected staff waiting in the apartment like fresh bread, butter, marmalade, caffe ... so we could have our small breakfast there. And there was a huge basket of fruits as well. That is a positive surprise and compliment to the owner.

Cozy cabin with good heating as the weather was cold. The bathroom had a heated towel rail and the floor was covered with fluffy rugs. Continental breakfast was in the fridge for us to warm up at our convenience. Bed was the most comfortable of our whole trip so far. Best of all, we were greated by a friendly cat. :)

    ExploreNESS Apartment is one of the best rental apartments I have stayed in. The host's description on how to find the location, where to park, how to find the key, etc. was described in a very clear manner. We were welcomed with a clean and spacious apartment filled with flowers, toiletries, and a big breakfast tray. The kitchen and bathroom are very well renovated, and the beds were very comfortable. It was everything my family wanted and more, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to visit Inverness.

    Management of this property was easy to communicate with and the location was excellent, including parking. The flat was roomy. Be aware that I am reviewing the one-bedroom basement flat (48A), not the upper apartment, which looks wonderful. Bed was very comfortable.

    Very cosy and clean apartment, flat had everything we needed for a short stay, basic stuff in the fridge for breakfast, comfy bed, even though it's in the town centre centre bedroom was quiet with comfy bed and clean bedding and towels., even the fold-out bed in the living room was big and comfortable. Books and games were a nice extra touch for the night. Host provided all the useful informations prior our arrival and parking permit for the street. Would totally recommend!
