We had a lovely 2 night stay here with our two children, 7 & 9 years of age. The house was beautiful! It has the appearance of a country cabin, but was very modern and beautifully styled on the inside. Everything was brand new and well appointed. The loft area was a great space for our kids to enjoy and there was a projector downstairs to enjoy a movie after a day of hiking. The horses grazed in the nearby field and there were views of the mountains beyond the neighbouring property. The house is very private and although we didn't require any assistance from the hosts during our stay, they were so kind in posting my daughter's beloved toy all the way back to Australia after it was left behind.

It’s a big house which easily fits large families. Situated in an upcoming area this rental is close to trendy coffee shops and restaurants, but also to hiking trails, waterfalls and the Fujimi bikepark.The accessories are complete, basically everything you need is there. Pretty comfortable, beds softer than most Japanese beds we encountered. Very spacious, gave us plenty of space to get our luggage sorted out. Very quiet location in the residential area, so the only thing you hear at night is crickets. You get assigned free parking spot almost right next to the entrance ( the apartment is on the second floor). On a good day, you can see Mt. Fuji from the city, I'm not sure if it's visible from the apartment. Within an hour's drive, there are plenty of great Fuji lookouts. Very nice owner, we were running a bit late with arrival due to traffic and there was no issue with that.

The house is a quintessential Japanese style house with all modern amenities. The master bedroom had a very comfortable western king bed and the other bedroom a series of very comfortable futons. All with very warm and fluffycomforters. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we were provided with coffee and tea. The house is in walking distance to shops and restaurants and there is a bus that runs to the station very close. Just all in all a wonderfully comfortable experience. Not to forget to mention that Takeshi-san gracefully picked us up from the train stations!!
