This is a wonderful traditional Japanese house. It's clean, quiet and very comfortable. The location is a little bit outside the city but only about 10-15 minutes walking to the temple and center. I recommend this place highly!

This is a unique experience. You have the entire building. The bedrooms are huge. If travelling with family or a group of friends it is a perfect choice as you can get away from each other. The bedrooms are upstairs. The living room, toilet and bathroom downstairs. It's slightly away from the centre of things but really only a short walk. The heat pump heating is inadequate but this doesn't matter because the host provides supplementary heating in each room. Just make sure you know how to use it or ask your host. The staff are very friendly and will help. .

The host was there to welcome us and brought us around the house to show us how to use the facilities and etc. My car got stuck in the carpark and the host came to help us in the late night.

Fabulous place to visit to relax and enjoy the scenery. The host was very helpful and super friendly. The Vietnamese food cooked by the host was delicious and if you're lucky you might get a free dinner or two. The host was so nice she even offered to drop off my wife and pick her up at an event my wife was attending giving me time to relax at the pensions garden. Looking forward to visiting Hanoi pension again.

Beautiful place in a quaint little village. Perfect place outside the usual tourist areas with good access to the highway to reach other places in the area. Excellent host who genuinely listens and gets back to you with ideas. The house has been beautifully restored with great design elements and furnishings. I loved it all. Delicious food prepared by the family. They even created a specific vegan menu for us! Couldn't recommend it more.
